2020 in the rearview
2020 was all sorts of things, but we don’t have to get into the nitty-gritty of it all.
Today, we wanted to share our favourite content that we found during 2020. In a year that threw everything at us, these films kept us ready to take on the world.
Not all of them are motorcycle-related. That said, there is a common thread of adventure, inspiration and fun that each of these videos hit the nail on the head.

Pol Tarrés - The Seeker
Choreographed footwork meets motocross. This film features stunning Spanish vistas, immaculate riding skills all wrapped up in high production value.
Zip-tie it all together and it makes this piece the top of our list this year.
Modshift Motion - DR650: Ride or Die
The song choice alone will transport you to the California foothills as the DR650 blazes through the desert. Starting off at an abandoned cafe and riding majestically into the sunset, this flick inspires us to get out there and ride. We highly recommend watching and subscribing to Modshift Motion’s channel.
Kriega - A Long Way for Bush Coffee
Live vicariously through these skilled group of riders as they take you along some seriously epic trails. Definitely ticks all the offroad boxes as we wait for the Winter riding season to wrap up.
CT90 Adventures - Cross Country on a CT90 playlist
As an owner of a Honda CT90, the thought of going cross country on this dorky bike intrigued us.
This video playlist has everything: inspiration, hardship, mishaps, and fun. We binge-watched this channel when we first found it, and it’s definitely inspired us to fix up our lil CT90.
TransAmericana - Running 3700 Miles across the USA
Not at all a motorcycle film, but an incredible journey of a man running across the United States. It’s beautifully composed and focuses on breaking generalizations. Starting in Florida and ending in the Californian Coast, his goal was to understand Americans (and himself) a little better.
Beau Miles - Run the Line
Okay, we had a hard time picking just one Beau Miles video. Run the Line is about exploring your own backyard and the marvels you can find not too far from home. Which is kind of perfect for 2020. We highly recommend binge-watching his channel.
BMW Motorrad - Greasy Hand Preachers
This is only a trailer, but you can watch the whole video on Amazon or rent it on YouTube.
Greasy Hands Preachers is about a diverse group of gearheads that build their own motorcycles and then race them on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Truly worth the watch!
FortNine - How Harley-Davidson Killed Itself
Of course, no top motorcycle video list would be complete without Fortnine. This one was our favourite. It’s fun, informative and Ryan holds nothing back. Sorry in advance if you ride a Harley Davidson and love it. Please don’t leave us mean comments.
